Sherif Shafey, PT DPT
Since 2012, Sherif has been the owner and Senior Physiotherapist of PhysioCan. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Cairo University in 1995. Sherif completed his Doctorate degree from Stony Brook University in New York in 2010. He completed the programme for Contemporary Neuro Functional Acupuncture at McMaster University in 2013 and became certified in Active Release Technique for Upper and Lower Extremities and Spine in 2017. Sherif is also a registered Kenisio Taping Administrator and Functional Capacity Evaluator.
Manjeet Mundhe, PT CMP
Manjeet is a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Mulligan Practitioner. He specializes in Spine and Joint Mobilization techniques. He is also trained in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. Manjeet uses a holistic approach when treating patients. He uses various advanced techniques such as correcting joint positional faults, joint mobilization with movements, manual therapy, soft tissue release, designing patient specific exercise programs and pain relief modalities. He treats a wide range of conditions and patients from all age groups. He has extensive experience working with sports teams and athletes. Manjeet enjoys an active lifestyle and we are fortunate to have him on staff!

Jenelle Knox, RMT
Jenelle graduated from Medix College in 2014 and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Before starting her studies, she worked as a Physiotherapist Assistant for a year. It was there that Jenelle learned she had a passion for helping people relieve their pain and improve their physical abilities. She focuses on the therapeutic part of massage therapy in pain relief techniques such as myofascial releases, trigger point therapy, and general massage, which are all incorporated with stretching and strengthening of the muscles.

Alyssa Guy, Chiropodist
Alyssa Guy is a registered Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists Of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists. Alyssa graduated from the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology with distinction, receiving a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) Degree. In a post graduate program at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences at UHN, Alyssa graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences Chiropody D.Ch.
Alyssa finds the substantial impact chiropody can have on someone else’s life extremely rewarding and is excited to be able to provide her patients at PhysioCan with the highest quality of foot health care. She has a passion to serve and provide patients quality of life through the dedicated care provided.

Roya Sarwar, PTA
Roya graduated from Durham College in 2019 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assisting and is now studying Kinesiology at Ontario Tech University. Roya is a physiotherapist assistant at PhysioCan and helps the PTs treat their patients. She enjoys working in the healthcare field and wants to gain experience before furthering her education. Roya enjoys reading, spending time outside and hanging out with friends and family.
Noha Masoud, PTA
Noha graduated from Durham College in 2019 with a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She has worked as Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor in different settings and enjoys helping people live a healthy and active lifestyle. Noha is a Physiotherapy Assistant at PhysioCan and helps PTs in making sure that patients are receiving the best possible care during their treatment. She enjoys working out, volunteering and spending time with her friends and family.
